The first 72 hours
The first 48 hours decide the bill.
A burst line or an open roof does almost nothing in the first hour. What ruins a house is everything that happens after, while somebody decides who to call.
-
Hour 0
The water arrives
Carpet, pad and baseboard are already saturated. Nothing is lost yet.
-
Hour 1
It goes under the floor
Water moves sideways along the subfloor and wicks up into drywall. The wet patch you can see stops matching the wet area that exists.
-
Minute 10
We call you back
You tell us the ZIP code and what happened. We tell you how long until a crew reaches you, and we say so honestly if it is too long to be useful.
-
Hour 24
Mold begins
Warm, wet and dark is the condition it wants. In Houston humidity this window is shorter.
-
Hour 48
Drywall is gone
Saturated board loses structure and stops being something that can be dried. Now it is demolition instead of drying.
-
Day 5
The structure reads dry
Equipment comes out when the meter says so, not when the calendar does. You get the readings for every day it was here.
Times are typical for a residential job and vary with the volume of water, the construction and the humidity. The meter decides, not the schedule.
Where we work
All of Texas. Crews in four metros.
Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio have crews on standby. The rest of the state is covered on request, and we tell you straight away if we can reach you.
What happens
Three steps, no surprises
Coming out to look costs you nothing. You pay when there is work to do and you have said yes to it.

Photos and moisture readings, room by room, from the first day to the last.

A job, step by step
What the file looks like when we leave
Every stage is photographed as it happens. The homeowner and the adjuster get the same file.
- 01 · DamageShingles gone, water coming in
The call comes in. Address and damage type go on the file before anyone drives out.
- 02 · On siteTarp comes off the truck
The tarp travels with the crew. Nobody leaves to go buy it.
- 03 · ContainedRoof sealed
Water stops getting in. Everything after this point is drying instead of more damage.
- 04 · DryingAir movers placed by room volume
Equipment count follows the IICRC calculation, not a guess.
- 05 · VerifiedThermal scan behind the wall
Finds the water you cannot see, before it turns into mold.
- 06 · ClosedThe house reads dry
That number goes in the report. It is what the adjuster pays against.
